Therapy Modalities

Assuming some conditions (mutual effort and persistence, a goal oriented modality, going in person when possible), therapy is just about the best thing you can do for your overall wellbeing.

A huge majority of the time people have negative or lackluster experiences beyond the therapist being a bad fit, it's due to a modality misalignment. As somebody who studied psychology, has worked with hundreds of therapists, was raised by two of them and has plenty of other experience in that world — here are my recommendations.
