Favorite Late Night Performances

There are so many incredible, documented live shows out there. Live Aid Queen, Nirvana Unplugged, East Berlin Springsteen — but there is something unique about late night performances. Bands have a few minutes to highlight all that they are, all that their song (and therefore album) is about to (generally) an at-home audience infinitely larger than any they've managed to corral prior. Some bands truly step up to the plate for their moment. Here are some of my favorite examples.
