What is it with Russian villages and their flags? Elektroizolator's (officially the rural settlement of Novokharitonovskoe in the Moscow Oblast) flag is a striking banner featuring a hand in a metal gauntlet holding a red triple-rose. It is set against a unique blue field with traditional Russian "Gzhel" blue-and-white floral ornamentation.

The gauntlet represents the historical protection, reliability, and strength of the local porcelain factory. The rose represents the past, present, and future, as well as the continuity of generations.
