Flag of Lombardy

Even if there was no symbolism at play here, I love the modern simplicity and unique shape in this flag. The symbolism pushes it into even more impressive territory.

The green represents the Po Valley and the Rosa Camuna symbol is derived from a prehistoric drawing made by the ancient Camuni (!). It is featured in a bright white in the center to represent the light of the region.
