Raf Simons FW 2017

Raf gave one hell of an honor to his new home with his FW 2017 collection that ended up being about as explicitly NYC as fashion can get.

The assortment ended up being heavy on oversized outerwear, blazers and sweaters — my favorite things. Beyond just the NYC inspiration, Raf went all in on American culture, using workwear references such as an oversize teal or chocolate-brown extralong utility shirt with matching pants. Very high/low, another beloved juxtaposition of mine.
