Go to School by The Lemon Twigs (2018)

You may be wondering to yourself what a concept album about a chimpanzee raised as a human boy, with Todd Rundgren playing the ape's father, would sound like. Well, spoiler alert: it's 100x better than you could ever expect.

On the surface, this campy, theatrical rock romp is exactly about what I described above — but the longer you listen, the more you recognize the chimp is really more a metaphor. About outcasts, outsiders, odd balls and really just all of us at the end of the day.
