Named after Walt Whitman's poem and Ray Bradbury's 1969 short story, Weather Report continue the now over a century old tradition of using this title for spectacular work (though work that is not everyone's cup of tea to say the least).
The album is split into a studio side and a live (from Japan) side - this albums serves as a huge divergence from their Milesian debut. This is full on fusion, wall of sound experimentation. This is a true voyage, containing all of the twist, turns, wins and losses of any noteworthy voyage. Saddle up for a lesser loved album from a lesser loved group that I think has aged extremely well and will continue to do so.
