"Dancing On My Own" by Robyn in Girls (S1 E3)

An early highlight, this scene brilliantly flips the classic sad-and-lonely breakup song into not only a shared moment of retrospective understanding and joy between friends but a genuine reclamation of power for an adventurous woman and lead of the great millennial novel (series).

Unfortunately for me while making this collection, however fortunate for the viewer, there are so many iconic moments to work with across six seasons. "Time to Pretend" with opium tea in the pilot, somehow someway finding a new angle for "Wonderwall" in the bathtub, "Valentine" to Adam falling of the wagon with Natalia, Elijah singing "Cool for the Summer", Jessa losing herself to "Bad Girl", that Aurora "Life on Mars" cover in Japan, the "Desperado" flute!, "Harder Better Faster Stronger"!!!! I could go on but you should just go relive these first hand.
