I'm going to include a handful of 'verses-as-songs' but will try to be discerning about where there are genuinely songs that just so happen to be one verse in length and where there are marathons of three verses without any chorus.
First up is the impossibly dense highlight from Madvillain's (Madlib and DOOM) only full length. If the incredibly intricate rhyme scheme wasn't enough, maybe the absurd depth in references and word play will be. The Mary Mack section is unreal, the Raekwon/Pee-wee Hermon acknowledgement at the end is just special and the Anita Baker bit... this man is too much.
Verse begins at: 0:13
Choice bar: "Forgot about the cackalack, holla back; clack-clack, blocka. Villainy, feel him in ya heart chakra, chart-toppa, start-shit stoppa, be a smart shoppa"
