A psychedelic trance outro that is really more of a second, somehow better??, instrumental track within an already classic track. This is the second best outro out there that I can think of at this present moment.
Bradford Cox has long considered this the best Deerhunter track "Would it surprise you to know I have nothing to do with it? I play the lead guitar on the first verse, but Lockett redid it on the second verse because I didn’t do it as well. We were just going to quit and record the album somewhere else. So we were like, 'OK, we’ll try one more song.' And Ben [producer Ben Allen] said, 'Can I just do this my way? Since you’re obviously not happy with what I’m doing, let me just do one thing without you stepping on my toes and breathing down my neck and micromanaging me. Let me do my job without interference.' Ben had input and he said, 'Get out.' I was removed from the studio. Of course I agreed to it. I took a drive around and came back to my favorite Deerhunter song ever. I was not in the room."
Outro begins at 2:58
